2007 Entry Information
What does the Rim Rally Challenge mean for competitors:
  • The first Rally Stadium Event open to all competitors in the U.S.
  • 100% USRC points for teams entering the overall two day event.
  • Two single point CRS Rally events (one Saturday and one Sunday).
  • Seven runnings of the Super Special Stage which will utilize a pursuit format.
  • Each Super Special Stage will be four complete laps.
  • Pre-event practice time on the Super Special Stage for all teams, which can include rides for members of the press, your sponsors, crew, or friends.
  • Rim Rally Radio will be doing driver interviews.
  • The West Coast's first ever RallyMoto™ event.
  • Celebrate 25 years of Rim in the Angeles Forest as Subaru presents the "Salute to the Champions" Party and BBQ Saturday evening.

2007 Entry System:
In order to give competitors the maximum competition time on the stages the number of entries will be limited. RIM will utilize a two step entry process to offer a fair opportunity for both Rally and RallyMoto™ entrants.
Prior to March 29 - Thirty entries will be reserved for
Rally entries and twenty entries will be reserved for RallyMoto™. Entries will be accepted based on when payment is received. If prior to March 29 there are more paid entries than allocated above, those entries will go on a waiting list for that group (ordered by when payment is received).
After March 29 - Any unfilled entries (in either group) will be filled from the other group's waiting list, if one exists. At this point there will no longer be any entries reserved for either group. The number of entries will be limited such that there will be no more than 20 runnings of each Super Special Stage. Since two Rally vehicles will run at a time and four RallyMoto™ bikes will run at a time, there will be a sliding scale depending on how many of each group have entered. If there are 30 Rally vehicles entered (15 runs), there could be 20 RallyMoto™ bikes (5 runs). If there are 32 Rally vehicles entered (16 runs), there could be 16 RallyMoto™ bikes (4 runs), and so on. If the field is filled with paid entries a waiting list will be established, again ordered by when payment is received.
