LANCASTER, Calif (April 9, 2004) - - Organizers of the Rim of the World Rally have announced that an Import Auto Show will be part of the weekends activities. Going beyond the typical off-road rally experience, the 2004 Subaru Rim of the World Rally presented by Autosport Engineering will feature over 40 acres of motorsports excitement, including the inaugural Rim of the World Import Car Show. In addition to the usual rally stage spectator areas in the scenic hills of the Angeles National Forest, rally goers can now enjoy the “on-road” convenience of the Antelope Valley Fairgrounds in Lancaster where the 2004 Rim of the World Rally will be headquartered. A European-style, side-by-side rally stadium super special stage event, a 45,000 square foot indoor Rally Expo, live rally service pit area along with the auto show will make the Rim of the World one of the largest and most diverse motorsports experiences on the West Coast. The excitement begins with the rally stages commencing Friday evening,
May 7, 2004 and the fairground activities taking place Saturday, May 8.

market.” Southern California, situated 40 minutes north of Los Angeles. Commonly referred to as “The Rim”, the rally race is round three of the 2004 SCCA ProRally Championship.
